For nearly 30 years, Mike Morea has helped business owners navigate the employment and legal issues that come with running a business and managing a workforce. His experience ranges from representing Fortune 500 companies to advising small and mid-sized, family-owned, and independent businesses on the decisions that affect their employees and their businesses.
That experience has shaped a simple belief: business owners should not have to become employment law experts to make confident decisions about their employees.
Mike helps employers understand their obligations, identify potential risks, and make informed decisions before employment issues become more difficult and expensive to resolve. His practice includes day-to-day employment counseling, employee handbooks and workplace policies, employment agreements, wage-and-hour compliance, leave and accommodation issues, discipline and terminations, and other workplace matters.
But even well-prepared employers can face employee complaints, government investigations, and lawsuits. When problems arise, Mike draws on decades of litigation experience to help clients understand their options, develop a practical strategy, and protect the businesses they have worked hard to build.
Before founding Morea Law in 2017, Mike practiced at larger law firms, where he represented businesses in employment matters and litigation. He founded Morea Law to provide small and mid-sized business owners with practical, proactive legal guidance that helps them stay ahead of problems, while still having experienced counsel to turn to when a dispute cannot be avoided.
